Sauna Heaters
Sauna heaters are without doubt the most important component of your
sauna,
without them you would simply be sat in a wooden room with a towel on. Whether you bought your sauna in pack form with heater included
(a sauna kit),
or you have built your own from scratch, you will at some point need to replace the heater or simply upgrade the
sauna heater
you have. The best and most efficient way of replacing sauna heaters is to remove the old one and replace it with an identical but new one. Obviously if you are upgrading this isn’t possible, and because of the changes in heater technology it isn’t always possible anyway.
Advances in technology have seen sauna heaters decrease in size while increasing in power output. The result is smaller but incredibly powerful sauna heaters, and the technology hasn’t stopped there! With every passing year a new type of sauna heater is released. This means the age old tradition of just replacing your old heater with a new one has gone, and you'll soon have to start shopping smart to purchase your sauna heaters.
Dry sauna heaters are normally cheaper than wet heaters but many people prefer the sensation that wet sauna heaters give; the choice on this is down to your personal preference and your budget. If you don’t mind paying a few dollars extra the best choice is to go for the wet sauna heaters because they are flexible enough that you can use them in a
wet sauna or
dry sauna.
